In 1979, Modular Mining revolutionized the mining industry with a groundbreaking product: the DISPATCH Fleet Management system.
Through ruggedized hardware and innovative software unlike anything the mining industry had ever seen, this new technology optimized the haulage cycle to dramatically improve productivity and efficiency for open pit mines.
The global success of the DISPATCH FMS served as a springboard for further innovation. Thus, we started developing additional mine management technologies, including the ProVision Machine Guidance system and the MineCare Maintenance Management system.
Today, Modular Mining’s solutions have expanded to include an array of unique support services that build upon each other to provide even more value for our global mining customers.
In 2021, Modular Mining became part of Komatsu’s Mining Technology Solutions team, expanding our technology product portfolio to include MineWare’s legacy solutions, Argus Payload Management System and Pegasys Dragline Monitoring System.
