The Company

Job Purpose

The Global Human Resources Manager is responsible for supporting the regional HR teams at our Mining Technology Solutions locations outside of the United States. In this role, you will develop and deliver HR plans for the regional offices by collaborating with local HR leaders to meet the needs of their employee base. This role needs to be able to meet the challenges that come with supporting a global team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Each day will present you with new challenges and opportunities to test and grow your skills.  As a Global Human Resources Manager with Modular, you will be responsible for:

  • Development and implementation of short and long term Human Resources strategies aligned with the business objectives and HR global strategy
  • Overseeing talent acquisition strategy and implementation; including ensuring staffing requirements are met to meet production requirements, hiring qualified candidates and building talent pipelines
  • Monitoring and addressing regional attrition and retention proactively 
  • Identifying, initiating, and implementing Continuous Improvement in HR service delivery initiatives
  • Leading succession planning and employee development activities at regional locations
  • Working with local leadership teams during annual Compensation Planning time to ensure alignment of rewards to performance, and that rewards are used as organizational levers
  • Other functions and special assignments as needed

Required Skills

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5 years Human Resources experience
  • 2 years supervision/management experience

Desired Skills

  • SHRM-CP, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SPHR certification
  • Proficient Spanish language skills
  • Experience leading a global team
