Position Duties

    Review customer product status and usage, establish improvement opportunities to help the customer utilize the system optimally and ensure quality and value delivered to customers roll will include managing of projects, become a single point of contact from mine site and drive internal communication using the knowledge of Mining Production Operations, Mine Planning, and Grade Control; Modular Mining’s Dispatch and products; and Statistical and Data Analytics.  Present plan of action and strategy to deliver Performance Assurance activities and assess mine operations performance using data analysis including fleet utilization, feeding to primary crusher, mine plan compliance measures, fleet productivity, cycle effectiveness, loading process, etc. using the knowledge of Mining Production Operations, Mine Planning, and Grade Control; Modular Mining’s Dispatch and products; and Statistical and Data Analytics.  Address mine operational, planning and grade control issues where MMS Products and Customer Value expertise will help and provide system assessment, engineering analysis, performance analysis, and benchmarking services as required using the knowledge of Mining Production Operations, Mine Planning, and Grade Control; Modular Mining’s Dispatch and products; and Statistical and Data Analytics.  Perform technical troubleshooting and fixes along with assistance from technical support staff using the knowledge of Mining Production Operations, Mine Planning, and Grade Control; Modular Mining’s Dispatch and products; and Statistical and Data Analytics.  Coordinate in advance with Mining Services regional and corporate when MineCare, ProVision, mine planning, grade control or mine operation support is needed during PA using the knowledge of Mining Production Operations, Mine Planning, and Grade Control; Modular Mining’s Dispatch and products; and Statistical and Data Analytics.  Maintain up-to-date Modular product knowledge, including known issues and conduct regular reviews of the customer JoiFUL logs with the customer and required Modular resources using the knowledge of Mining Production Operations, Mine Planning, and Grade Control; Modular Mining’s Dispatch and products; and Statistical and Data Analytics.  Min. 40/wk

Education and Experience Requirements

The education/research and experience requirements for this position are a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or foreign equivalent and five (5) years of mine site work experience in a production and/or engineering role, Mine Planning & Grade Control, Mine Operations, or Mining Production Operations.  In addition, using the knowledge of Mining Production Operations, Mine Planning, and Grade Control; Modular Mining’s Dispatch and products; and Statistical and Data Analytics is required to be able to perform the responsibilities of the position, and are common to the occupation.  They are not restrictive requirements.
