Kleinkopje Integrates Modular DISPATCH® System

Modular Mining Systems, Inc., the world leader in powerful information management systems for maximizing mine productivity, announces that Kleinkopje Colliery, an Anglo Coal operation in South Africa, has selected to install the DISPATCH® mine management system.
Kleinkopje chose Modular products over other competitors’ because of the company’s proven track record. Kleinkopje preferred strong local support — especially with training and technical skills — from Modular Mining Systems Africa (Pty.) Ltd. (MMSA).
Implementation began in April; the installation is complete and final acceptance was signed off in October. A productivity bench marking exercise was carried out in July followed by an assessment and final training. As part of the performance guarantee, MMSA is preparing to carry out another productivity measure this month. The mine is already utilizing the DISPATCH® system for reliable information management and enhanced optimization.
Implementation was approached in a unique manner, as the MMSA team completed a Change Management assessment before the installation. The commitment of the Kleinkopje team made the process and collaboration very efficient. MMSA Project Manager LeslieFengu says, “Kleinkopje will go down as one of the most efficient implementations for MMSA.”
