Modular Replaces Jigsaw at Southern Arizona Mine

Modular Mining Systems, Inc., the industry leader in mining technology, announces that one of the world’s top copper producers has chosen to implement Modular fleet management technology at another of its operations in Southern Arizona, U.S.A., replacing their current Leica Geosystems Jigsaw360 system.
The installation consists of the DISPATCH® system, PowerView™ software, and VIMS® interface on 19 haul trucks. “We were selected for our product reliability and unparalleled level of service and support,” said Sagar Chandra, General Manager, Modular North America. “We are excited to provide them with an accurate and reliable system, while extending the productivity improvements demonstrated at their other operations.”
For Modular, this project is another example of the company’s growth in the mining solutions marketplace, having just celebrated 30 years of business. With the DISPATCH system in place, the customer will receive increased stability and flexibility in the technology used on site, as well as dependable local and global support.
