The Company

Job Purpose

Join the KMAP DevOps team at Komatsu as a DevOps Integration Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving support cases in Zendesk, monitoring applications, and responding to alerts. Additionally, you will support development best practices using Azure DevOps, Pipelines, Repository management, and operations for a range of cloud-based applications, including Grafana, Confluent Kafka, Databricks, Azure (Full Stack), SingleStore, InfluxDB, and more. Working closely with the development, QA, and operations teams, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our solutions. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design & develop Devops applications, Identifying and developing automation processes for the KMAP platform. Implementing and managing tools for automation and monitoring. Configuring and managing continuous integration and delivery systems.
  • Day-to-day operations, monitoring operation metrics & Alerts. Managing infrastructure and server configurations, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues. Implementing and managing deployment pipelines for quality, reliability, and scalability of our solutions.
  • Continuously monitoring and improving the security posture of the KMAP platform. Assisting with the development of security measures and policies & collaborating with development teams to ensure required security standards are met. Assisting with the active identification of threats and mitigation.
  • Enforcing and implementing defined data governance policies. Planning, coordinating software releases and rollback processes. Conducting post-release evaluations and gathering feedback.
  • Training and enabling global teams to support and enhance their use cases. Managing project documentation and knowledge sharing. Coordinating with other teams and stakeholders.
  • Preparing base images for IoT & automation of deployments
  • Supporting internal and external platform users addressing their issues through Zendesk. Platform access management, Asset/Machine onboarding. New use case onboarding.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve DevOps integration.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps, Pipelines, Repository management, and operations. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Cloud Based applications including Grafana, Confluent Kafka, Databricks, Azure (Full Stack), SingleStore, InfluxDB, and others. 
  • Strong SQL skills including query building, procedures, functions, and analytical functions.
  • Excellent understanding of data flows, data engineering & data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent understanding of cloud concepts including security, networking & authentication.
  • Strong Knowledge and experience with OAuth2, LDAP & SSO
  • Strong knowledge and experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python & Java Scripting etc. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience with troubleshooting and debugging tools such as Wireshark, Fiddler, Postman, etc. 
  • Strong knowledge of IoT ecosystem & inner workings
  • Strong knowledge, experience of Linux operating systems, creating custom images & automating deployment through scripts

Desired Skills

  • Basic knowledge of heavy machinery & their workings.
  • Experience working with global teams.
